Canadian Dental Care Plan

For the moment, the program has been put in place, but several details remain to be worked out, including the reimbursements to patients. As we want to participate in the program, without exposing our patients to certain ambiguous situations, we prefer to wait until these issues are resolved, in order to offer the best possible service to our customers. Thank you for your understanding.

Fully Devoted to Children

Specializing in pediatric dentistry, Dr Martimbeau has surrounded herself with an impressive team and keeps expanding her training with a single goal in mind: to provide better care for children.

“What truly motivates me is a child’s growth and development. It is most likely my maternal instinct that inspires me to see them grow, make them feel safe and keep them out of harm’s way.”

Both in her role as a dentist and that of owner-partner at La vallée, Dr Martimbeau is a reassuring presence, always caring for the wellbeing of others. This is not surprising – a formidable reference in the field of pediatric dentistry, Dr Martimbeau has always known that she wanted to work with children. She hence focused on fields of expertise including children’s orthodontics, myofunctional therapy, frenectomy in infants (to facilitate breastfeeding) and procedures performed under dinitrogen oxide or general anesthesia in children.

Dr Martimbeau has participated in several training courses in Quebec and abroad. Among other things, she refined her knowledge in myofunctional and respiratory therapy at the Myofunctional Research Company in California, completed a course in orofacial myofunctional therapy at the AOMT (Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy), executed specialized training in interceptive orthodontics in young children under the renowned Dr Naretto, and in dentofacial orthopedics as well as neuro-occlusal rehabilitation as per the Planas technique with Dr Patrick Ampen. Dr Martimbeau works closely with Dr Alain Aubé of the Canadian Occlusion Institute on pathologies linked to the TMJ in children.

A perfect mix of competence and humanity, Dr Martimbeau enjoys the fun side and psychological approach of her relationship to her younger patients. On a personal level, although she enjoys travelling, skiing and mountain biking, her true passion has a tendency of taking over: for her, family activities come first.
